Setting up your device for the first time ?
How do it set up my device for the first time ?
We have made the setup process very easy . Your device is already connected to the network and just requires you to setup your personal details and preferred wake up times .Once this is set you are ready to install your device .

My device has woken up but showing a different location ?
When installing your Intelizzz device it is important you install your device where it can get a good GPS Signal . If your device has woken but in a different location this is because it was unable to get a GPS Fix and has provided an approx location using the SIM card which estimates your location using you nearest cell towers .
In order to get a good GPS Fix you will need to re locate you device where it can see the sky , please note you device WILL penetrate both glass and plastic .
Can I change my wake up times at any time ?
Yes of course . You can change your wake up times as many times as you like . Please note : your new wake up time will only take effect on the time you last set for eg; If your device wakes up at 8am daily and you want to change this to say 12noon your new wake up time will be set at 8am the following day and then change to your chosen time .
If my device does not connect for a few days will the daily location still be collected ?
Does my device wake up everyday even if I have bad reception ?
Yes . Intelizzz is programmed to wake up everyday so even if it does not have any cell reception it will still wake and collect GPS Data.
Installation
Can I install the device anywhere ?
No . Installation is critical to the device connecting and is very important that this step is carried out properly otherwise it could be useless in a theft situation when you need it most .

Do you have an installation guide ?
Will Intelizzz work in the boot/trunk of my car ?
Your device may connect using the cell signal but in most cases your device will not get a GPS Signal due to the amount of metal surrounding it . In estate cars and hatchbacks you should be ok .

Connection
Does Intelizzz have a built in SIM card ?
Is there a roaming cost if I take Intelizzz abroad ?
What if I have bad reception in my area ?
Intelizzz has a built in sim card which will connect to the best network available , currently we have agreements with O2,EE & Vodafone . If there is bad reception with O2 Intelizzz will connect to the next best signal .
If Intelizzz was unable to connect it will still collect and store GPS data and upload on the next wake up so no data is lost .
What if my device is indoors and does not get a GPS Signal ?

If Intelizzz is unable to get a GPS Signal but has a cell signal it has a fall back of LBS ( Location Bases Services ) When the device connects using cell signal it scopes out the nearest cell towers and provides an approx location , this location is generally around 50-100 meters away but can be closer or further from the device depending on whether the device is in a rural area or within a populated area . Rural areas tend not to be as accurate as city centres .

What happens if my vehicle is stolen ?
As with all Thatcham Approved device you have the comfort of being able to contact our emergency control room who will work with the police to help recover your vehicle . This applies to the UK only .
There are processes to follow if your vehicle is stolen which are printed on a card inside each device sold .
Can I track my vehicle live if its stolen ?
What if a thief finds my device ?
Intelizzz has a built in light sensor so if found and exposed to light it will wake you device and send its location , it is important you have push notifications set to receive these important alerts .
Intelizzz is also unique in that it does not have an ON/ OFF switch so if found thieves CANNOT simply turn off the device .
